Health Insurance

How do you find out if your insurance plan covers acupuncture?

  1. Call the customer service number on your insurance card and ask a customer service representative if they offer "acupuncture benefits". If so, let us know, and bring in your insurance card so we can verify your coverage. We would be happy to file the paperwork for you.
  2. If they do not offer acupuncture benefits, ask if they offer an "acupuncture discount program". Let us know and we will work towards getting contracted with them to offer you that discount. Again, bring your insurance card when you come in.

Automobile Insurance

After an auto accident, it is common to develop symptoms including  whiplash or muscle spasm. The sooner you can come in for treatment after your accident, the higher the chance of preventing any long-term damage from the accident.

Tell your auto insurance agent that you would prefer to get some treatment after the accident through acupuncture, and ask if it can be covered. It is possible that your visits can be entirely covered through your auto insurance! We will work with you to provide any paperwork you need.

Flexible Spending Accounts

If your employer has offered you a flexible spending account in your benefits package, ask your Human Resources department if you can get reimbursed for acupuncture and/or herbs. It may be able to use the funds set aside in your flexible spending account for your treatment sessions! We will accommodate you with whatever paperwork or receipts that you need.
